Alva Yachts announces UK and Ireland distributor

Alva Yachts, German builder of electric solar catamarans and sail boats, has appointed Roos Strategic Partners as its UK and Ireland distributor.

Roos Strategic Partners, led by CEO Dennis de Roos, joins a network of partners in Southern and Northern Europe, the USA, Asia, UAE and Australia. Alva Yachts says both companies share similar values of being environmentally conscious.

CEO and founding partner Dennis de Roos brings 20 years of commercial management experience in the marine, automotive and manufacturing industries. 

De Roos, says: “With interest in both e-yachting and the Alva Yachts product range increasing in the UK and Ireland, it’s the perfect time to ensure boat buyers have a knowledgeable point of contact to help them experience all that an Alva has to offer.”

He continues: “We are entering an exciting time of rapid development and innovation that will modernise future product offerings and provide a better value proposition to customers. The consumer demand is increasing for the use of more environmentally conscious materials and green energy solutions to provide a more sustainable future for boating. The announcement comes after the Alva recently launched its Ocean Eco 60 Coupé, an 18.4m multihull yacht with electric propulsion and transatlantic range.

Ocean Eco 60 Coupé

The vessel is the sister to the Ocean Eco 60 and Eco Ex 60, the Coupé offers an unlimited range, generous social spaces and exceptional handling, even in the toughest conditions, says the company.

The Ocean Eco 60 Coupé joins the Ocean Eco 60 and 90 and 90 Explorer models as well as its Eco Cruise 50 and the Ocean Sail 72 and 82 respectively.
