Amaala Yacht Club on the Red Sea opens

Tourism developer Red Sea Global (RSG) has announced that Amaala Yacht Club is now operational, marking a major milestone in establishing the Saudi Red Sea as a new global destination for luxury yachting, sailing and marine tourism.

According to the developer, the yacht club runs entirely on renewable energy and features a 119-berth marina that accommodates superyachts over 100 metres, a 7,900-square-metre clubhouse designed by HKS Architects, dining venues, a rooftop pool, meeting spaces and a sailing academy.

Positioned closer to the Mediterranean than the Caribbean, the developer says Amaala offers an attractive winter cruising hub and a strategic gateway to the Indian Ocean. It also claims berthing and mooring fees comparable with leading European yachting destinations.

The venue is due to host the grand finale of The Ocean Race 2027, one of the world’s most prestigious sailing competitions – complemented by a year-round programme of international yachting events.

In March 2026, the club announced its long-term strategic partnership with We Are Foiling to also attract the sport’s most innovative athletes and events.

Located within Amaala Marina Village, the Amaala Yacht Club is now welcoming founding members and visiting yachts to moor and explore the destination.

The club’s members and guests will also enjoy access to newly opened luxury resorts in Amaala such as Four Seasons, Six Senses, Rosewood, Equinox, and Nammos, with two additional resorts expected to open in the coming months.
