Aqua Superpower has entered into a partnership with Hellonext, a manufacturer of DC charging systems, to support the expansion of marine fast-charging infrastructure.
Hellonext has existing installations in Spain, with charging systems in operation at several ports and marinas. Under the agreement, Aqua Superpower will serve as the default charge-point management system for Hellonext’s marine installations. The company will provide services including connectivity, SIM management, platform monitoring and end-user eMobility service provision. Through its role as an eMobility service provider, it will also direct users within its network to Hellonext charging locations.
Hellonext’s AC and DC charging systems will be integrated into Aqua Superpower’s Neptune platform. Aqua Superpower will manage operations including remote monitoring, load balancing, billing, roaming, maintenance coordination and customer support.

Aqua Superpower states that its network operates at over 98 per cent uptime and includes a helpdesk and self-service portal for users.
The companies will also work together on commercial activity, including sharing project leads and delivering combined hardware and software systems for ports, marinas and harbour authorities.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone in our strategy to become the go-to CPMS and EMSP partner across the marine and wider electromobility sectors,” says Karen Gill, COO of Aqua Superpower. “By selecting Hellonext as a strategic supplier, we are aligning with a proven technology leader in DC charging and marine infrastructure.
“Together, we bring a compelling combination of proven hardware and a scalable digital platform, accelerating the deployment of marine charging infrastructure worldwide while expanding the Aqua network for our users and unlocking greater utilisation and revenue for ports and marinas.”
Manuel Sande e Castro, global sales director at Hellonext, adds: “Hellonext is committed to delivering high-performance charging solutions that support the global energy transition. With established marine installations already operating in Spain, we have demonstrated the reliability of our technology in real-world environments.
“Partnering with Aqua Superpower allows us to enhance our offering with a best-in-class CPMS and EMSP platform, creating a complete, turnkey solution for customers and accelerating the adoption of electric marine mobility.”
The agreement also supports integration of third-party hardware into Aqua Superpower’s platform, providing a managed option for infrastructure providers without in-house software capability.
Initial deployments will build on Hellonext’s existing sites in Spain, including Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. Further locations are expected to follow during the year.
