Aquila Catamarans will launch two new models, the 50 Sail and 45 Sport, at the 2026 Miami International Boat Show, taking place 11-15 February.
These world premieres are part of an eight-boat display, showcasing the builder’s lineup designed to appeal to a wide range of boating lifestyles.
The 50 Sail is Aquila’s first entry into the sailing market following the firm’s 2025 announcement of its expansion into sailboards. Built using advanced composite techniques, the yacht offers four-, five- or six-cabin configurations. Propulsion options include traditional diesel engines or the eco-conscious and “whisper-quiet” Hybrid Ocean Drive system.

The largest model in Aquila’s Sport range, the 45 Sport, will debut at the show with twin-stepped hulls capable of top speeds exceeding 50mph with efficient cruising between 38 and 40mph. Said to draw inspiration from contemporary luxury SUVs, the design emphasises social and entertainment spaces. An optional advanced lithium battery system is available for off-grid air conditioning.

In addition to the 50 Sail and 45 Sport, Aquila will also display models from its Yacht, Coupe and Molokai ranges. The Yacht range prioritises stability, space and comfort for long-range cruising. On display will be the 2021 Multihull of the Year 54 Yacht, the “explorer”- style 50 Yacht and, with the same design but in a smaller package, the 46 Yacht.
Meanwhile, the Coupe (42 Coupe) range combines versatility for day and overnight cruising, with two cabins and Hydro Glide foil technology that’s said to deliver 40 per cent greater fuel efficiency.
The Molokai range (47 and 36 Molokai) provides stable fishing platforms, powered by Mercury Verado outboards with trailerable designs, has seating for up to 17 people and a queen-sized ensuite cabin.
Aquila’s seven power models will be displayed at Dock IC 511 A-F, Miami Beach Yacht Collection, and the 50 Sail will be located at Dock E, Sailors Cove, IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami.
Jean Raas, chief product officer at Aquila Catamarans and CEO of Aquila USA, notes: “This is an exciting show for us with two very unique launches. The Aquila DNA of innovation, strength, and quality runs throughout the 50 Sail and 45 Sport, and we look forward to welcoming everyone on board these models for an exclusive first look. With eight vessels on display at this year’s show, we’re displaying a truly versatile portfolio to meet the distinct lifestyles and expectations of today’s boaters.”
Aquila is arranging private viewings and tours of the vessels on display at Miami Boat Show 2026 (more information is available on Aquila’s website).
