Arleigh International acquires Aquafax Ltd

Arleigh International Ltd has today announced the acquisition of marine wholesaler Aquafax Ltd.

With its headquarters based in Luton, Aquafax is one of the the UK’s leading wholesale distributors of marine and industrial equipment and has a network of six regional depots strategically located around the UK.

Aquafax supplies all sectors of the marine industry, from marine engineers to the largest boat builders. Its product range also lends itself to applications outside the marine industry, including specialist vehicle builders, coach builders and plumbers as well as supplying into the mobile electricity solutions market and other general industrial applications.

Alastair Thomas, MD of Arleigh Group Ltd., says: “Our acquisition of Aquafax further enhances our position as the leading marine distribution business in the UK. It also strengthens our Speciality Leisure Division. We will be looking to maximise synergies between Arleigh’s current well established marine businesses (Midland Chandlers and ASAP Supplies) and Aquafax with immediate effect.”
