Asap’s electric jet boards launch with Pro Rescue in Poole

Asap Water Crafts, Nottingham based designers and manufacturers of Wave Jam electric jet boards, has appointed Pro Rescue as its latest sales agent.

Pro Rescue will be selling and offering demos of Wave Jam electric jet boards to boat owners, and rescue professionals this summer in Poole.

Asap’s creations are small jet boards which it says offers an ‘incredible body boarding/surfing experience, without the need for waves’.

The concept was originally designed as a rescue jet board by Ross Kemp who took part in lifesaving training at Loughborough University. Kemp recognised that small boats and jet skis can be slow and cumbersome to launch which led him to develop his first electric jet board in 2013. It quickly became apparent, however, that there was a market for the simple fun of riding the electric boards at speed.

“We are really excited to have partnered with Pro Rescue in Poole,” says Kemp. “They are very well respected in the rescue and marine industries, as well as being perfectly placed at MDL’s Cobb’s Quay Marina in Poole to showcase our electric jet boards to both rescuers and boat owners.”

Asap says Pro Rescue is an RYA recognised training centre and trains emergency services. The company will be running demo days for boat owners, and training days for rescue professionals.

Asap and Pro Rescue are celebrating their partnership by offering a free super fast charger (worth £467) to customers who order their electric jet board (starting from £4460) before the end of March with Pro Rescue. Use the discount code: PRORESCUE when placing an order online.
