British defence and marine protection specialist Air Sea Land Group (ASL GRP) has expanded its commercial team with two new appointments: a new marketing and communications manager and the promotion of a sales manager.

The announcement comes as the firm continues to grow its presence across international defence markets, supporting increasing demand across the marine, vehicle and aerospace sectors. Jessica Paine has joined as marketing and communications manager, while Jensen Veal has been promoted to sales manager.

Paine brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, and client relations, with a background spanning digital marketing, events, brand development, and commercial growth. In her new role, she will work alongside the leadership and sales teams to raise ASL GRP’s international profile, support business development and communicate the company’s technical capabilities.

Commenting on her appointment, Paine says: “My first priorities are elevating our company profile, continuing to build global awareness of our innovation and expertise, and strengthening our digital and in-person presence across the industry. This is a peak time for ASL GRP, and I’m proud to be part of the next phase of global growth.”

Veal steps into the sales manager position after spending the past year working on research and development projects within the business; he will focus on improving relationships with existing customers, developing new business opportunities, and representing ASL GRP at trade events.

“The biggest priority for our customers is reliability, ensuring they have complete confidence in their protection solutions to perform exactly as expected in real-world environments,” Veal adds. “They want proven performance, technical expertise and a partner they can trust to deliver the right solution for their application.

“I’m looking forward to spending more time around the world with customers and partners, helping to grow our presence in new markets. I’m excited to be a part of the next stage of ASL GRP’s growth.”

Jonathon Diffey, managing director of ASL GRP, says the latest appointments highlight the firm’s commitment to supporting continued international growth. “As demand for our solutions continues to grow internationally, investing in the right people is just as important as investing in our products,” he says.

“Jessica and Jensen each bring important strengths to help us continue to build our customer relationships, increase our global reach and support the long-term growth of the business.”
