Baltic Lifejackets launches new clothing range

Baltic Lifejackets Sweden has launched a new technical clothing range with the introduction of base, mid and outer layers to their range of lifejackets, buoyancy aids and floatation clothing.

Baltic’s technical clothing is designed to make life on the water comfortable, warm, and dry with the new range of everyday essential apparel. The apparel range includes the Pacific 3-L jacket and trousers and Ulven fleece, Ymsen Wool top and Anten Wool tops and pants.

The Baltic 3-L Pacific Pro Shell takes the form of a jacket and trousers. The membrane is a three-layer shell fabric offering WP 10,000/MP 10,000 with four-way stretch to provide maximum protection to the wearer. The jacket has adjustable cuffs and hem, and the trousers have an adjustable waist and ankles. They are available in black, and unisex sizes S – 3XL.

For the Baltic mid-layer there is the Ulven Fleece and Ymsen Wool Top, named after two lakes near Baltic’s hometown Älgarås.

The Ulven is a polyester WP3000/MP3000 fleece. It offers excellent water repellence, says Baltic, and comes with a full-length zip, chest pocket, reinforced shoulders and adjustable cuffs and hem. It’s available in black, unisex sizes S to 3XL.

The Ymsen Wool Top is a mid-layer offering designed to give the sailor good insulation and breathability. It’s made from merino wool and comes with a full-length front zip, adjustable cuffs and hem and is available in black with unisex sizes S – XXXL.

The base layer is the Baltic Anten Wool top and pants.

This merino wool combination comprises a long sleeve turtleneck with short zipper top where the back is slightly longer than the front to prevent any gaps and unwanted drafts. Both the top and pants are made of a circular knit wool and offer good insulation and breathability. They are available in black, unisex sizes XS/S, M/L and XL/XXL.

CEO of Baltic Lifejackets Sweden Johan Lövqvist comments: “For over 40 years Baltic lifejackets has designed and manufactured lifejackets, buoyancy aids, floatation clothing and safety equipment, the introduction of an apparel range is us diversifying and starting our next chapter.”
