Barrus launches B2B marine equipment portal

MyBoat247 Barrus

Barrus, a UK-based importer and distributor of marine equipment, has launched a new B2B marine equipment portal, MyBoat247, to improve the purchasing experience for its marine dealers.

Barrus says the MyBoat247 online trade platform streamlines ordering to optimise the purchasing process and saves dealers time and resources.

“The launch of MyBoat247 marks a significant milestone for our marine equipment business, offering a transformative solution to simplify and enhance business operations,” says Ben Allen, head of marine at Barrus. “This platform will allow us to have a more agile relationship with our customers and improve their overall purchasing experience.”

Barrus says the platform has a smooth and intuitive navigation experience, allowing customers to easily browse through an extensive catalogue of marine equipment with over 30,000 products from 45 brands.

The platform offers detailed product information, specifications and documentation to aid purchasing decisions without the need for further research. The ‘MyAccount’ area also includes individual user account information, including order review, invoice history, live stock availability and much more.

Barrus adds that the MyBoat247 platform offers access to its latest promotions, offers and clearance deals.

In other news, Barrus has recently launched a joint venture with Hybrid Marine to create a new hybrid propulsion system company, Hybrid Marine International.

This comes four months after the appointment of a new CEO, Graham Knox.
