Barton Marine is launching new products specifically for dinghy sailors at the RYA Dinghy and Watersports Show on the 22 and 23rd February 2025.

In the line-up are the HB1 Continuous Line Furler and the Low Friction Ring Strap Eye. These are designed to provide optimum performance for dinghies and small yachts in challenging conditions. The new HB1 Continuous Line Furler is decribed as robust, lightweight and stylish and introduces hybrid-bearing technology to make furling the Genoa a breeze. (At the tail end of last year, Barton Marine introduced a newly engineered range of Genoa cars, marking the culmination of several years of research and development.)

The Low Friction Ring Strap Eye melds the smallest, most durable low friction ring available worldwide with a deck mounting strap to allow smooth running of fairleads up to 4mm.

Both products will be available to view on stand 220. A full list of Barton’s products is available on its website.

And, available to chat with, is Ralph Hadley. He’s Barton’s ‘rising star’ and will be on the stand on the Saturday to talk to aspiring sailors about how he got into sailing, his experience on the Topper race circuit, and his Barton sailing set up.

“The dinghy show is a great event in my sailing calendar which I look forward to attending every year. It’s always good to see the latest product releases and lots of new boats up close. Helping Barton with their build a block challenge was my highlight for last year’s show as well as seeing friends from the Topper race circuit. I am really excited to share my knowledge on the Barton stand this year and helping to encourage more people to take up Topper racing,” says Hadley.

Alongside Hadley, there will be technical and product support from the experienced sailors who personally design and manufacture the Barton range in the UK (which MIN reports regularly upon), all of whom can advise on optimising or upgrading rigs in 2025.

In collaboration with P&B, the core Barton Dinghy Range is available on the stand to purchase with a 10 per cent discount. Barton is also offering a warehouse clearance sale on Carbon Fibre Tiller Extensions.
