Barton Marine launches land sailing kits
British deck equipment manufacturer Barton Marine has launched a range of land sailing kits for Blokart, Odyssey and Manta land yachts.
Three kits are available, providing an all-in-one option to update hardware and lines for the different types of land sailing vessel. Each kit is designed to work with a particular class of land yacht and is class-legal for racing.
Barton says all kit variants contain the 12-faced Barton Ratchet Block to provide control of the mainsheet line, allowing optimum sail trim for maximum speed.
Paired with the included stand-up spring, the Ratchet block can be positioned upright at the best possible angle for smooth running lines and handling.
Kits also contain the other necessary blocks (30mm or 45mm) and rope stoppers for simple installation and ease of use.
Barton Marine has been a worldwide supplier of blocks since 1948 in Whitstable, Kent. The firm celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023.
At METSTRADE 2023, Barton launched its new Barton Race-branded product group. The new Barton Race range comprises high-performance low friction ball bearing blocks and the more high-tech products and accessories from the wider range of Barton marine equipment, designed for both dinghy and cruising sailors.
