Barton Marine to co-sponsor the MTA Awards Dinner

Barton Marine is set to support those working across the UK marine trade sector through its sponsorship of the 2022 MTA awards dinner.

The event will be held on the 20 June, the night before Seawork opens, at the Grand Café in Southampton. It will be the first MTA awards dinner since 2019.

The event is organised by the Marine Trades Association and will also be sponsored by A Plan Commercial Marine Insurance, Marine Resources, Barrus and ASAP Supplies.

The evening will see the 2022 awards for MTA business of the year, personality of the year and chairperson’s special award handed out, alongside Barton Marine’s: David Coleman Excellence in Exporting Award to be presented to the winners from 2020, 2021 and 2022. Nominations for all three of the MTA event awards are currently open.

“We have received great interest and an influx of bookings already, and so we’d recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out,” says MTA chair Emma York.

“The evening will consist of a welcome drink and networking, live music, three course dinner and of course, the coveted industry award presentations. I look forward to seeing as many as possible at the dinner, after so long.”

MTA tickets are on sale for £50+VAT per person and are available individually or as a table of 10 at £500+VAT, via Amy Cox at British Marine, as our nomination forms.
