Benetti appoints sales director after CCO departs
Benetti has appointed Daniela Petrozzi as the firm’s new sales director, effective 1 June 2024. In her new role, Petrozzi will report directly to Massimliano Casoni, the firm’s general manager.
The Italian luxury boatbuilder giant says Petrozzi will continue to develop Benetti’s commercial strategy with a view to consolidation and growth.
With twenty years’ experience in Benetti, Petrozzi has had a long career in the yachting industry.
The firm says her appointment as sales director is the ‘direct result’ of the group’s confidence in the ‘technical, commercial and leadership skills she has consolidated holding roles of increasing responsibility in different functional areas of the company.’
Petrozzi’s appointment comes just weeks after Sebastiano Fanizza reportedly resigned from his position as Benetti‘s chief commercial officer, which he held for six years. No reason has been given for Fanizza’s surprise departure.
