Boatfolk introduces flexible summer cruising

UK marina group boatfolk has launched a new summer cruising contract that it says provides enhanced flexibility for boaters during the summer months.

This offering allows boaters to sign up for a three-month contract at any of Boatfolk’s 11 marinas across the UK, granting them free cruising visitor nights at all locations within the group.

The new contract builds upon the group’s existing annual berth holder benefit, which provides 300 free visitor nights across ten sister marinas throughout the year. This summer-specific option caters to boaters who prefer a shorter-term commitment while enjoying the freedom to explore multiple UK coastal destinations.

Michael Prideeaux, managing director of boatfolk, emphasised the contract’s aim to facilitate easier water access and exploration. He says: “We want to make it as easy as possible for people to get on the water and visit all the wonderful locations we have across the UK.”

The summer cruising contract comes with certain conditions. Visitor nights are subject to availability and are capped at 30 nights per marina. Additionally, berth holders must spend at least 14 days at their home marina during the contract period.

Boatfolk has highlighted several of its marinas as potential summer destinations, such as Haslar Marina, Conwy Marina, Royal Quays Marinas, Rhu Marina, and Portland Marina.

The group recently launched its boat subscription service, Beyonder, at a third marina, Conwy, following successful launches at Haslar and Portland. Continue reading boatfolk’s latest news.
