The organisers of Boot Holland, the Netherlands’ only indoor watersports fair, have confirmed that the 2026 event has been cancelled due to a shortage of exhibitor registrations.

It is the second year in a row that the show has been cancelled. The 2025 edition was also called off in the face of challenging market conditions.

The event was scheduled to take place from 11-15 March 2026 at the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden. Previous editions had attracted over 250 exhibitors.

In a statement published on the event’s website, WTC Expo say: “We’ve been working hard on a new edition over the past few months, but unfortunately, we have to announce that Boot Holland 2026 will not take place.

“After careful analysis, it appears that the number of registrations is insufficient to offer the quality you, as a visitor, can expect from us.”

The statement adds: “We would like to thank you for the commitment and trust you have placed in us over the years.”
