Malvaux Marine is the next marine company to feature in the pre-expo Q&A series with Marine Showcase exhibitors. Brought to you by Marine Industry News, this series highlights the individual businesses that will be showing their products and services at this inaugural event which is supported by the British Marine Trade Association.
What product or service does Malvaux Marine offer and where is it available?
Malvaux Marine offers a complete vertical service for boat builders from veneered panels to finished furniture including specialist finishing such as high gloss, metallic paint or leather inserts as well as working in Corian or other solid surface materials.
What do Malvaux Marine’s products do?
Malvaux Marine will take a CAD drawing or scan plus a GA and work it up into a virtual interior. Once approved, this is converted to 2D working drawings, CNC programming and eventual manufacture of the interior furniture.
What does this offer your customers?
The advantages are fixed costs, added efficiency of manufacture, reduced inventory, access to specialist equipment and skills and just-in-time delivery.
Why is this important to people, what benefit does it give them?
No need for an extensive ‘wood shop’, access to factories that produce 800-900 boat interiors annually, pre-determined contracted cost and ability to increase turnover without increasing internal costs.
