British Marine to host Women in Marine event

British Marine will be hosting Women in Marine Day on Thursday 22 September as part of Southampton International Boat Show. Across the day, there will be an array of speakers and discussion panels on the Foredeck stage leading with the theme of Women in Marine.

8:30am-10am – A Mental Health Workshop – An Employers & Employees Perspective
New for 2022, a well-being session provided by Zevo designed to take a variety of explorative deep dives into mental health within both a personal and professional setting, from the viewpoint of both the employee and employer.

4pm-6pm – Women in Marine Q&A panel and networking opportunity
The exclusive Women in Marine Q&A panel will be offering the opportunity for you to listen to a range of senior professionals across the marine sector discussing their careers and current key topics within the industry. There will be a chance to engage in a Q&A session moderated by Fiona Pankhurst, followed by a networking opportunity over canapés and a glass of bubbles. This is an excellent event to connect with other professional women within the marine sector.
