British Marine partners with money management platform

British Marine and Equals Money teams on a dock

Payment and currency specialist Equals Money has been announced as exclusive partner to British Marine and will be offering members a free consultation with one of the finance company’s currency specialist team.

Equals Money platform provides a money management and payments layer, without the customer needing to change bank. Core functionality includes expense management via virtual and physical cards, with domestic, bulk, and international payment capabilities supported by Tier 1 bank connections.

British Marine says the payment company’s mission to make money movement simple lends itself to the challenges faced by BM members – everything from managing the risk of currency fluctuations to keeping track of crew spending.

Since 2005, Equals Money has supported over 20,000 businesses in managing their payments and cashflow, including the marine sector.

Under the new partnership, British Marine members will now be able to receive a free consultation with a member of Equals Money’s currency specialist team.

Chris Webster, senior partnerships manager Europe at Equals Money, says: “Equals Money is proud and excited to partner with British Marine. We believe this to be an excellent opportunity to showcase the Equals Money brand whilst working together to add value to one another’s consumer base.

“British Marine represents the perfect partner to continue Equals’ growth and exposure within the marine industry.”

Simon Taylorson, commercial director at British Marine, says: “We’re delighted to bring Equals Money on board as partners. With their tailored money movement solutions and money management expertise they are the perfect partner to support us as we continue to support marine-based businesses.”

Equals Money will be exhibiting at the Southampton International Boat Show on stand S015.
