Brunswick names general manager of Navan Boats

Vittorio Castellini Bichucher General Manager of NAVAN Boats

Brunswick Corporation has appointed Vittorio Castellini Bichucher as general manager of Navan Boats. Bichucher will take on this role alongside his existing responsibilities as senior director of strategy for Brunswick’s Boat Group.

In this expanded position, Bichucher will oversee the development of Navan’s exploration boats across US and international markets. Brunswick says the role includes responsibilities for product development, brand positioning and customer engagement.

Navan Boats was launched by Brunswick in 2023. The brand focuses on high-specification boats designed for performance, safety and offshore use. Under Bichucher’s direction, Navan is expected to expand its product offering further. The firm says he will work in collaboration with the current Navan leadership team and the company’s established dealer network.

“We are excited to position Vittorio into this critical leadership role at Navan,” says Brenna Preisser, Brunswick Boat Group president. “His global perspective, strategic mindset, deep understanding of the marine consumer, passion for the marine industry and the partnership with the existing Navan team will be instrumental as we accelerate Navan’s current plan and deliver exceptional value to our customers and dealers.”

Bichucher joined Brunswick in May 2024. He holds a degree in naval architecture and marine engineering from the University of Michigan and was previously an associate partner at McKinsey & Company, where he spent nearly a decade.

“I’m honoured to lead Navan. It is an exciting time in the brand’s journey,” says Bichucher. “Navan will continue to launch exciting products that fit its mission and consumer needs, while leveraging the strength of Brunswick’s assets, talent and dealer partners.”

Brunswick Corporation includes over 60 brands across marine propulsion, parts, accessories, technology and boatbuilding. Its brands include Mercury Marine, Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Quicksilver, Freedom Boat Club and Boateka. The company is headquartered in Mettawa, Illinois, and has operations in 26 countries with around 14,500 employees.
