BSI Marine Equipment Group appoints new CCO

BSI Marine Equipment Group has appointed Mark Barwell as chief commercial officer (CCO) with immediate effect.
“I am delighted Mark has accepted this role,” says Morten Madsen, CEO for BSI Marine Equipment Group, which is based in Denmark. “Mark brings extensive experience, knowledge and insight to the role as he has worked for 20 years as a sales director for OYS and later OMS. This skillset can now be better strategically utilised across the group.”
Barwell will be based in the OMS office in Christchurch, UK. His role involves overseeing commercial functions across the group, working with sales and marketing, research and development, and management teams.
“Since the acquisition of OMS into BSI Marine Equipment Group I have had the opportunity to learn more about all the companies within the group. I am excited to look at how we can enhance the customer experience further and ensure that the company effectively achieves its goals,” Barwell says.
