Bulgarian luxury catamaran manufacturer Omaya Yachts has shared pictures of its debut model, the Omaya 50. The debut model is now complete and entered the water last week.

Bulgarian family-owned business Elica Group launched the luxury power catamaran brand, Omaya Yachts in 2024.

Designed with longer onboard living in mind, the Omaya 50 also offers enhanced livability and practical amenities for extended stays.

Kaloyan Radulov, CEO of Omaya Yachts, says: “We are excited to finally be able to show what we’ve envisaged with the Omaya 50. To the team, to every person who has poured their energy, skill and heart into this, thank you. You have supported us to turn a complex challenge into a spectacular success.”

Udo Hafner from designers iYacht says: “What has stood out most to us is the passion and commitment with which this project was brought to life. It was clear from the start that this was not just about building a single yacht. The greater vision – the drive to create something scalable, repeatable, and to lay the foundation for a truly remarkable shipyard is something we deeply admire and respect.

“We are proud to have been a part of this journey and even more proud of the outcome. The Omaya 50 is a testament to what is possible when ambition, design, engineering, and execution come together so harmoniously.”

Elica Yard recently enhanced its production capabilities with the installation of a 5-axis CNC gantry milling machine to increase its ability to rapidly introduce new models and modifications to existing lines and improve its time-to-market efficiency.
