BWML rebrands its 18 marina chain to Aquavista

BWML, a UK residential and leisure mooring provider, is rebranding to Aquavista.

This, the company says, reflects its mission to “deliver a great waterside experience, whether you live, visit or work at an Aquavista marina”.

The new identity includes a name change, the launch of a new website and an updated logo and signage. However, Aquavista says it’s not just its appearance that will feel different.

BWML, now Aquavista, was established in 2004 and operates 18 coastal and inland marinas across the UK as well as offering brokerage and, more recently, Floating Homes. The rebrand will enable the business to refocus its core values by putting customer experience and the essence of waterside life at the forefront of everything it does.

The name translates to ‘waterside view’ and was influenced by feedback from customers. They outlined what is most important to them about being within a marina; close proximity to water and nature, the tranquillity of waterside living and enjoying the simpler things in life.

The new website is said to better serve the needs of its customers, with a dedicated customer portal.

“Aquavista is about celebrating and discovering the very best of waterside life, and with our knowledgeable crew, range of products and breadth of waterside and marina locations, we are in a great place to do this,” says Steve de Polo, CEO. “Whether you live with us, moor with us for a weekend break, or are simply passing by, we want to help you discover the beauty and simplicity of waterside life.”

This is not the only marina group to rebrand this year. Aquavista follows hot on the heels of Dean and Reddhoff’s and Quay Marinas change to Boatfolk.
