Canadian marine technology company iNav4U has launched a Nordic subsidiary, iNav4U Nordic AS, in Norway, establishing a permanent base in Scandinavia and extending its operations across North America and Europe.
The subsidiary will cover markets in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. It will also introduce Zora 3.0, the company’s open operating system for yachts, to the region.
iNav4U Nordic AS is led by Kim Dahlstrøm, CEO of the subsidiary.
“Norway is one of the most sophisticated boating markets in the world,” says Brenda Robinson, COO and co-founder of iNav4U. “Nordic boaters expect intelligent, integrated systems. They value innovation, safety, and engineering excellence. That aligns perfectly with who we are and what Zora represents.”
Zora 3.0 is described by iNav4U as an ‘open-protocol operating system’ designed for yachts, which integrates ‘navigation, onboard systems, automation, data management and situational awareness into a single interface’. The firm says the platform is structured to support third-party integration and can scale with vessel requirements over time.
iNav4U Nordic AS is to operate as a fully established subsidiary rather than a reseller arrangement.

“iNav4U Nordic is a strategic cornerstone of our global expansion,” Robinson adds. “We are investing in local leadership, local dealer relationships, and regional support. This is about building a permanent footprint in Scandinavia.”
Dahlstrøm says: “The Nordic market is ready for a new approach to marine technology. Boaters here are highly technical, forward-thinking, and expect systems that work together seamlessly. Zora delivers something fundamentally different – a unified, intelligent platform instead of fragmented electronics. I’m proud to lead iNav4U Nordic AS and bring this technology to Scandinavia.”
The company will present Zora 3.0 and introduce iNav4U Nordic AS at Allt för Sjön, the Stockholm International Boat Show, scheduled for 5-8 March and 12-15 March 2026, at Stockholmsmässan.
The Nordic launch follows a dealer expansion programme announced in late 2025. iNav4U states that it is also progressing plans to establish additional subsidiaries in New Zealand, Australia and the US.
iNav4U is headquartered in Nova Scotia, Canada. “Our vision is global,” says Robinson. “We are building the operating system for yachts worldwide, and the Nordic region is a critical step in that journey.”
