Cantiere del Pardo expands production and launches new yachts

Cantiere del Pardo used last week’s Cannes Yachting Festival to announce new investments, three Cannes world premieres and the group’s renewed Luna Rossa partnership ahead of the America’s Cup.

Cantiere del Pardo, which owns Pardo Yachts, VanDutch Yachts and Grand Soleil Yachts, set out its long-term growth strategy – focusing on industrial investment, product development and closer engagement with its owner communities.

“Our approach is simple: we keep investing today so that we are ready to grow tomorrow,” says Marcello Veronesi, CEO of Cantiere del Pardo. “Since Oniverse Group became the owner of Cantiere del Pardo, we have maintained a clear long-term vision, committing significant resources to our facilities, our products and our people. What we are presenting in Cannes today is a direct result of that strategy.”

Expanding the industrial platform

A major part of the Group’s investment programme is the expansion of its production facilities. The first phase of Cantiere del Pardo’s new plant in Forlì is due to open by the end of 2026, with the full project scheduled for completion in 2027. The development will add more than 35,000 square metres of production space.

Three world premieres at Cannes

The additional capacity will support the future growth of all three brands – Pardo Yachts, Grand Soleil Yachts and VanDutch Yachts – while keeping Forlì firmly at the centre of the Group’s manufacturing operations and identity.

The investment programme will continue in spring 2027 with the opening of the new Launching & Welcome Centre in Marina di Ravenna.

Designed to serve both operational and customer-facing functions, the facility will allow a significant number of sailing and motor yachts to be launched directly from the site. It will also provide a new base for owners to meet the brands, explore different models and get out on the water for sea trials. The aim is to turn what is essentially an operational facility into a dedicated hub for the ownership experience.

Cantiere del Pardo introduced three world premieres across the Group’s brands at Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 with the new Pardo GT65, alongside the Grand Soleil Plus 80 and the Grand Soleil 60.

Pardo GT65 builds on the learnings from the Pardo GT52 and GT75, as well as feedback
from more than 70 owners. Pardo Yachts has opted for a single, carefully developed layout designed to make the most of every square metre. Simplifying specification, the model comes with a range of essential equipment as standard.

Cannes also marked the European debut of the Pardo 43 Outboard.

For Grand Soleil Yachts, Cannes saw the world premiere of two new models: the Grand Soleil Plus 80 and the Grand Soleil 60.

The Grand Soleil Plus 80 takes the Plus concept into a new size category, offering a higher degree of customisation than the standard Grand Soleil range. According to the brand, the Plus line was conceived as a development platform for new ideas in design, materials and technology – solutions that can subsequently feed into the wider range. Since the first 72-footer was launched in 2023, 15 Plus yachts have been delivered to owners in eight countries.

The Plus 80 now opens the next chapter. A second hull, with a flush-deck configuration, is currently under construction and will be completed in the coming months, while further developments of the line are already under development.

The Grand Soleil 60 is designed primarily for offshore and bluewater cruising,
Standard equipment includes hydraulic vang and backstay systems, a furling headsail, electronic engine controls at the helm station, and 1,000-litre fuel and fresh-water tanks.

The specification is designed to provide the autonomy required for longer offshore passages, while retaining the sailing characteristics expected of a Grand Soleil.

Community becomes key for brand foothold

For Cantiere del Pardo, the strategy goes beyond boatbuilding. The Group is therefore continuing to invest in events that bring together the communities around its three brands.

In 2026, CdP Week made its debut in Porto Cervo, joining established events such as the Grand Soleil Cup and Pardo Rendez-Vous. Together, the events attracted several hundred participants. Following the success of its first edition, CdP Week will return to Porto Cervo from 9–12 June 2027, again in collaboration with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.

Cantiere del Pardo and Luna Rossa: partnership renewed for 2027

The Group is also looking ahead to the 38th America’s Cup and has renewed its partnership with Luna Rossa for a third consecutive edition, ahead of the 2027 America’s Cup.

The relationship is also moving to a new level, with Cantiere del Pardo becoming an official partner, following its previous role as official supplier. The collaboration will extend across the group’s three brands – Pardo Yachts, VanDutch Yachts and Grand Soleil Yachts – with a selection of yachts supporting Luna Rossa on its road to Naples 2027, both for operational activities and hospitality.
