Cantieri di Pisa presents new Akhir 44 interiors in Dubai

Italian shipyard Cantieri di Pisa showcased the newly designed interiors of the Akhir 44 at the Dubai International Boat Show.
The 44-metre yacht’s interiors were created in collaboration with the Italian design firm Pulina Exclusive Interiors to create a distinctive aesthetic. The design combines warm materials like bleached oak with cool metal and steel finishes to give the yacht a “sporty and technological look.”
Led by Alessandro Pulina, Pulina Exclusive Interiors brought its multidisciplinary approach to the project, creating a space that, according to Pulina, is “characterised by our carefully curated selection of materials and by innovative architectural solutions that balance energy in motion with a sense of spatial harmony.”

“The fresh, neutral colour palette enhances the liveability of the interiors and creates sensations of lightness and openness. Every onboard space is designed to optimise the guest experience by balancing comfort and adventure, and every element is designed to express responsible luxury based on aesthetics and wellbeing, aiming to offer an exclusive yachting experience,” adds Pulina.
The exterior design is courtesy of the yard’s chief designer, Antonio Luxardo, who has been responsible for redesigning the Akhir line. “The first model in the new series, which will be built in carbon and glass composite and reach a top speed of 35 knots, will combine the iconic lines of the original range with various characteristics designed to meet current market demand,” explains Cantieri di Pisa CEO Marco Massabò.
The Akhir 44’s layout emphasises a layout that focuses on symmetry and fluidity. The main deck is designed with guest experience in mind, featuring a spacious salon and adaptable dining area. Sliding panels transform the formal dining space into an extended lounge, while a large window opens onto a sculptural galley intended for interactive cooking experiences. A floating staircase made of metal and glass serves as both a functional feature and a striking centrepiece in the salon.

Commenting on the commissioned interiors from Pulina, which feature various liveability factors, Massabò adds: “The yacht’s spaces offer maximum comfort, understated elegance and a unique onboard experience for cosmopolitan owners attracted by a brand that helped write the history of yachting and is still a force for innovation in the industry today, not least thanks to its collaboration with such illustrious partners.”
Meanwhile, the yacht offers four guest cabins and an owner’s suite, all with expansive windows that strengthen the connection to the sea while maintaining privacy. Crew quarters for nine are located forward and distributed between the lower and main decks.
Powered by three 2,600 HP MTU engines, the Akhir 44 boasts an average speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 35 knots.
