D-Marin reveals vision for Camille Rayon on the Côte d’Azur

D-Marin has unveiled its new Experience Centre at Port Camille Rayon, which outlines the company’s plans for the future of the marina.
Inside the new interactive space, visitors can explore the transformation through digital displays, videos and an interactive touchscreen.
Over the next four years, the project will:
- Increase berthing capacity from 838 to 859, primarily for boats under 12 metres.
- Introduce a dry dock for small boats and refurbish shipyard facilities.
- Create extensive green areas and promote demineralisation for a natural, open waterfront.
- Build a 260-space underground car park to ease access.
- Renovate the harbourmaster’s office, shipyard platform and marina buildings in line with local architectural traditions.
- Integrate solar panels and smart pedestals to enhance sustainability and energy efficiency.
The Vallauris Golfe-Juan municipal council approved D-Marin as the concessionaire for the redevelopment and operation of Camille Rayon in 2024, marking D-Marin’s first marina in France.
The redevelopment is due for completion by 2029.
D-Marin moves into France
D-Marin says its plans for Camille Rayon celebrate the area’s storied past while preparing it for a vibrant, inclusive future.
The multimillion-euro investment, designed by Côte d’Azur architect Rudy Ricciotti, is about enhancing the marina’s role in the daily life of the town — all while introducing state-of-the-art marina operations and environmentally conscious infrastructure.
The official opening took place in the presence of Kevin Luciano, mayor of Vallauris Golfe-Juan, along with other local and regional leaders.
“We are not just building a modern marina — we are creating a place that is woven into the social and economic fabric of Vallauris Golfe-Juan,” says Corinne Reynaud, president of D-Marin France. “This Experience Centre is a way to involve residents from the beginning and show that Camille Rayon’s transformation is rooted in the town’s culture, designed to foster local employment and support regional businesses.”
“Camille Rayon will become a true flagship of the Côte d’Azur, thanks to a shared vision between public and private partners,” added Mayor Kevin Luciano. “This is not just a project for the sea — it’s a project for the town, for residents, and for future generations.”
It is hoped the new marina will help support the local economy by revitalising commercial spaces and creating new jobs.
With this launch, Camille Rayon takes its first bold step toward becoming a sustainable, smart and community-centred marina — a place where heritage, modernity and local life flow seamlessly together.
