Digital twist to chandlery’s new catalogue

The 24th issue of Midland Chandlers 2021 trade product catalogue will have a digital twist.

Working with Phuzion Media, the Arleigh Group-owned chandler has created the first ‘Snap To Shop’ trade publication.

Snap To Shop technology allows the reader to photograph (snap) a catalogue product image using a mobile device, taking the user directly to the product page on the Midland Chandlers website for immediate purchase.

“This is a great technology that demonstrates how you can link a traditional printed catalogue together with e-commerce to make shopping seamless for our customers,” says Arleigh Group marketing manager, Edwin McCracken. “We are happy to pioneer the first use of this technology within a full product catalogue.”

Stefano Biondi, co-founder of Phuzion Media, comments: “Our white label proprietary image recognition platform fuses digital content with traditional media such as print, TV and direct mail to reduce friction in the consumer path to purchase and improve the effectiveness of our clients’ investments into catalogues, customer magazines and brochures. We are delighted to partner with Arleigh Group to bring this first-in-class innovation to market.”
