Double commission in April for RYA joining points

Throughout April, clubs, training centres and marine organisations signed up to the RYA’s Joining Point programme will receive double commission for every new RYA member they introduce.

The doubling of the standard commission values of the programme mean Joining Points will receiving £20 commission for every family membership or £15 for every individual adult member they sign up.  The commission earned can then be fed back into the organisation to help pay for renovations, new kit or towards new boats.

Existing RYA Joining Points don’t need to do anything to register for this promotion and the double commission will automatically be applied to their account. For clubs, training centres and marine organisations not already registered as a Joining Point, they can sign up for free to get started.

“We have run the double commission promotion a number to times now and it proves very popular with our Joining Points,” comments Ben Falla, RYA head of membership.  “The programme is a real win for everyone involved.  The Joining Points earn valuable commission, new members enjoy the benefits of being a member and the RYA membership grows.

“Growing our membership is vital to support our work ensuring legislators, regulators and other authorities understand and take account of recreational boating activity. Membership funds are also reinvested into the organisation to help with participation, cruising and government affairs and performance activities, so the support of our Joining Points is crucial.”

The double commission offer closes at midnight on 30 April 2021.  Double commission will only be paid on applications received by the closing deadline.
