Entries open for 2022 British Marine Awards

The 2022 British Marine & Boating Business Awards is calling for entries. The awards, which will be given out at the British Marine National Conference on 15 March, seek to celebrate leaders, innovators and rising stars from across the industry.

Nominations are free to submit, with entries encouraged from entrants as well as nominees who wish to see the efforts of others rewarded. Each nomination requires a justification of up to 600 words.

Panels of industry experts will meet to judge eight of the categories, while assessment of the Media Innovation Award will draw upon the feedback of 1,500 British Marine member companies. Readers can find the nomination form here.

The deadline for all entries is 28 February 2022.

The award categories for this year are:

  • British Marine Media Innovation Award
  • British Marine Rising Star Awards

Shortlisted entries will be invited to the networking evening and dinner at the inaugural British Marine National Conference, held at Birmingham’s National Motorcycle Museum on 15 March 2022. The winners will be announced by the Conference’s headline economist, former Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls, in front of an audience of 300 leading professionals.

Lesley Robinson, British Marine CEO, says: “This year’s British Marine National Conference is focused on future opportunities that can be created through innovation. Even as we look forward, it is also important to recognise and applaud those efforts that have built our industry today. The British Marine & Boating Business Awards will celebrate the achievements of the diverse range of companies and individuals that form the lifeblood of our sector. Entries are free to ensure no-one is excluded from entering themselves or nominating a business or person of merit. I’m confident we’ll get an excellent set of shortlisted and winning entries to inspire us all.”
