ePropulsion appoints dealer in Australia

ePropulsion has entered into a partnership with Australia-based distributor Power Equipment to distribute its electric propulsion systems in the Australian market.
Power Equipment is a family-owned distributor with 35 years of experience supplying marine and industrial engines.
“We are thrilled to partner with the team at Power Equipment to bring ePropulsion’s sustainable technologies across Australia and beyond,” says Danny Tao, co-founder and CEO of ePropulsion. “We rely on key partners like Power Equipment to bring awareness to our eco-friendly options in the boating landscape. Australia is a market on the cusp of change when it comes to electric power adoption, and we aim to answer the growing demand with our game-changing products.”
Power Equipment will supply ePropulsion products through its dealer network and offer dedicated marine sales and engineering support. The distributor will also use its facilities to deliver training and technical services.
“We couldn’t be more excited to add ePropulsion to the growing list of manufacturers we represent,” says Luke Foster, CEO of Power Equipment. “While Australia remains a traditional boating market, with minimal regulatory push toward electrification, this partnership represents a bold move to increase access to sustainable propulsion technologies. ePropulsion is leading the global electric charge with their continuous approach to innovation, exceptional product quality and value and we’re looking forward to expanding their reach in our region.”
ePropulsion develops electric propulsion systems ranging from 500W to 250kW. Its portfolio includes outboards and inboards, supported by a platform known as ePropulsion Smart System Architecture (eSSA) with IoT connectivity features. Key product lines include the Spirit and Navy outboard ranges (1–6kW), the H-Series for inboards (60–250kW), and the I-Series with smart integration and ergonomic design. The company recently introduced the X Series and the eLite motor, the latter of which is its smallest electric outboard designed for tenders and small vessels.
Founded in 2012, ePropulsion operates across Europe, the US and Asia, with a focus on OEM and end-user solutions for both commercial and recreational marine applications.
