ePropulsion continues growth with new marketing director

Marine electric propulsion systems and services company ePropulsion has expanded its management staff and hired new marketing director and head of Hong Kong office, Rita Li.

The appointment follows the company reaching 100 per cent growth in sales revenue in 2021, achieving its forecast in eight months.

Li brings over nine years of progressive marketing and management experience to the position. She is a business graduate and alumna of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology where she witnessed the start-up journey of ePropulsion by her peers who later became the co-founders and key management of the company. As a nature lover and boating enthusiast, the company says Li is the ideal candidate to be a part of ePropulsion’s visionary journey to revolutionise the boating experience for a better world. She will oversee the multi-location marketing team and focus on branding, marketing strategies, communications planning, media relations and event planning and execution.

“I have enjoyed watching the growth and development of the ePropulsion brand from its very beginning,” says Li. “I am proud to join the ePropulsion team and I look forward to working closely with our amazing distributors around the world to extend collaborations in public relations and marketing bent on driving awareness of the ePropulsion brand even further.”

Additionally, Chang Zhao has expanded her role from CMO and is now responsible for all marketing, sales and service for the company. In addition to expanding the marketing and executive management team, the ePropulsion service staff has doubled to better serve their customers around the world.
