Electric outboard manufacturer ePropulsion has established ePropulsion France, as the Chinese firm sets its sights on further European expansion.

The firm, which is opening an office in Pontchâteau in Western France, says the creation of ePropulsion France aims to ‘substantially enhance’ the company’s sales capabilities and market exposure in France. The firm says France is a key territory for future sales growth and a leading market for ePropulsion in Europe.

Heading the newly established dealership is Erwan Grandpierre, recently appointed sales director of ePropulsion France.

Grandpierre has worked in the industry for over two decades, including major names in electric boating. In his new role, he will support the expanding French ePropulsion dealer network.

“We’re delighted to announce the establishment of ePropulsion France and to be working within one of Europe’s largest electric boating markets,” says Danny Tao, co-founder and CEO of ePropulsion. “With Erwan’s sector expertise, we are extremely pleased to embark on this next chapter together as we continue to revolutionise sustainable boating and strengthen our distribution across key markets.”

Chang Zhao, chief marketing officer at ePropulsion, adds: “We are committed to developing our brand in France, working alongside Erwan and his team. France stands as one of the largest and most important global markets for us, and our commitment to excellence is evident in our substantial investments in innovation, quality, and services to elevate our current standing in Europe.”

MIDIF, ePropulsion’s dealer in France, will continue to play a key role as a local dealer and service centre, further solidifying the company’s presence and support network in France.
