ePropulsion Technology Ltd has confirmed details of a planned transition in its United Kingdom and Ireland operations following a recent internal review.

In a statement, the company says this decision ‘reflects ePropulsion’s evolving priorities and commitment to the long-term alignment of the group’s global operations’. The ePropulsion Group includes ePropulsion Technology Ltd and its global network of operating entities.

ePropulsion UK had acted as distributor for the UK and Ireland since 2022.

A new legal entity will be established in the UK to take responsibility for regional sales, marketing and after-sales service. ePropulsion states that it will commit the ‘necessary resources’ to maintain continuity during the transition and retain operational capability in the region. Warranty and service support for existing customers will also continue under the ePropulsion Group.

As part of the change, Steve Bruce – who had been managing director at ePropulsion UK – will no longer hold any position or perform any function within the ePropulsion Group.

The company notes that ‘any statements or actions made by him do not reflect the views or positions of ePropulsion or any entity within the group’.

The news comes a week after ePropulsion launched Spirit 2, the latest model in the Spirit series of electric outboard engines, at Metstrade 2025.
