Exhibitor registration is now open for the 57th edition of boot Düsseldorf, scheduled to take place from 17 to 25 January 2026.

Robert Marx, president of boot, says: “The last boot has shown us exhibitors once again that the trade fair is a reliable partner for successful business. For global players and all international companies that are looking for new sales markets due to global market changes, boot Düsseldorf is the most effective and best presentation platform.

“Even in the current difficult economic situation in our industry, it has attracted an interested and eager audience and continues to ensure new groups of buyers with its innovative ideas that are always in tune with the times. As a long-standing exhibitor at the show myself, I recommend that all companies involved in watersports should attend.

“With boot Düsseldorf 2026 we will start the new season successfully next January, because only here we can attract customers from all over the world.”

The 2025 event recorded more than 200,000 attendees from 113 countries during its nine-day run. One third of visitors travelled from outside Germany, and 18 per cent were trade professionals across key sectors of the watersports industry.

The 2026 edition will retain its existing hall layout. Halls 1, 3 (including sport fishing), 4, 5 and 9 will house powerboats, while Hall 6 will be reserved for luxury yachts and Hall 7a for the Superyacht Show. Halls 15 and 16 will present sailing yachts and boats, overseen by Arne von Heimendahl and Svenja Zimmermann. Zimmermann will also manage maritime art exhibitors in Hall 7 and those offering accessories in Hall 11.

Hall 10 will feature general equipment, with diving displays in Halls 11 and 12 and the ‘Living on Water’ section in Hall 13, coordinated by Christian Hruschka. Exhibitors in surfing (Hall 17), paddling and tourism (both Hall 14) should contact Caroline Mühl. Lara Hannappel is responsible for enquiries about stage programming and activity areas.

Sustainability and marine conservation will again be prominent themes in 2026, supported by the blue innovation dock, an initiative developed in cooperation with the European Boating Industry to promote dialogue between political, commercial, technical and media stakeholders.

According to the organisers, boot 2025 reached an audience of 1.2bn through international media coverage. Visitor purchasing behaviour also remains strong, with 39 per cent attending with specific investment plans across the boat, accessories, surfing and diving equipment categories. Organiser surveys report that 94 per cent of attendees expressed high levels of satisfaction with their visit.

“This positive atmosphere and the purchasing power of the visitors give boot a strong economic appeal,” says director Petros Michelidakis. “It is the beacon of the industry and gives it substance and security. My team and I will be happy to meet with all interested companies for personal discussions and to provide individual information about participation in next year’s event.”

boot Düsseldorf hosts over 1,500 exhibitors across 220,000 square metres in Halls 1 to 17, attracting both recreational visitors and industry specialists. The fair features a broad range of boats, from dinghies and superboats to motorboats and luxury yachts. Equipment and demonstrations for sports including diving, surfing, kite surfing, stand up paddling, skimboarding and canoeing are included in the show.
