Plymouth Boat Fest will return on Saturday, 20 June 2026, following a successful first event earlier this year.

The inaugural 2025 show, held in June at Plymouth Yacht Haven, welcomed more than 50 exhibiting companies and 30 vessels representing marine technology, leisure, services, conservation, and related sectors.

Event organisers from Yacht Havens Group have signalled plans for an expanded programme next year. Steve Cox, marina manager at Plymouth Yacht Haven, comments: “This year was a great starting point for Plymouth Boat Fest.

“It became a showcase for the Westcountry’s broad maritime sector, with companies not only presenting their vessels, products, and services, but also engaging the local community around future skills and employment opportunities. Next year’s show will build on these foundations, with increased ticket capacity and an expanded on-water demonstration schedule.

For 2026, organisers plan to grow the Marine Technology Zone, showing off Plymouth’s growing reputation for maritime innovation. With support from Turnchapel Wharf, the area will include live demos of remote-controlled and autonomous boats, plus more on-water displays.

There will also be more pontoon space on the water, so even more boats can take part. Last year’s exhibitors included Princess Motor Yacht Sales, The Island Trust’s 96-foot tall ship, Plymouth RNLI, Wolf Rock Boat Company, and Cattewater Harbour Commissioners.

In line with the event’s development, organisers have launched a dedicated website for Plymouth Boat Fest.  “Creating a standalone website underlines our ambition to grow the show year-on-year and provide a central hub for everyone involved,” adds Cox.

The new website brings together all the details for visitors and exhibitors, making it easier to find information and stay up to date as the show grows into a key event for the South West.
