Folding propeller firm appoints account manager

Danish folding propeller manufacturer Flexofold has announced the appointment of Kristjan Pigsborg Kristjansen as its new key account manager.

Kristjansen will be based at the company’s Danish headquarters in Vejle. The company says Kristjansen’s focus will be building on Flexofold’s existing relationships with global shipyards and dealers, enabling the company to be more proactive with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key clients around the world.

Flexofold CEO, Henning Uldall says: “We are delighted to welcome Kristjan to Flexofold ApS. As our new sales lead, we are excited about the part he will play alongside our existing sales team in boosting our business with OEMs and larger customers. There are many opportunities for Flexofold in these areas, and we look forward to Kristjan representing our highly trusted brand on the world stage.”

Kristjansen has many years of experience in the marine industry, with past roles including sales manager for X-Yachts and account manager for Tricon Electronics, distribution of the French-built Harmony Yachts in Denmark. Kristjansen was also previously a boatbuilder and rigger at Kerteminde boatyard, Faurby and Nordship.
