Foresti & Suardi introduces Donizetti 2.0 speaker lift
Foresti & Suardi has introduced Donizetti 2.0, an automated speaker lift designed to conceal an audio system beneath a surface when it is not in use. Originally developed for the yachting sector, the system is also intended for residential, outdoor and architectural applications where concealed integration is required.
When inactive, the mechanism remains hidden beneath the installation surface. When activated, the speaker rises through a motorised movement before retracting once no longer required. The product is intended to preserve uninterrupted surfaces while providing access to an integrated audio system.
The unit has a minimal design intended to suit a range of interiors. It is manufactured in stainless steel and is available in matte black, matte white and mirror-polished stainless steel finishes. Bespoke finishes, colours and compatible materials are also available on request for projects requiring additional customisation.
Compatible with home automation systems, Donizetti 2.0 is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It is equipped with two 140W speakers and can deliver sound pressure levels of up to 122dB.
Foresti & Suardi is an Italian manufacturer of high-end marine hardware, yacht accessories, and architectural lighting.
“With Donizetti 2.0, our goal was to transform a technical component into a discreet architectural presence,” says production manager Luca Paissoni. “We didn’t want to design just another concealed audio system, but rather create an object capable of integrating naturally into a space, allowing experience and atmosphere to become the true protagonists.”
