Fountaine Pajot Group acquires majority stake in The Yacht Sales Co

Fountaine Pajot Group has acquired a majority stake in The Yacht Sales Co., as the firm strengthens its presence in the Asia Pacific region.

In October 2024, the France-based Fountaine Pajot Group completed its acquisition of a controlling interest in The Yacht Sales Co. The acquisition builds on a long-standing relationship between the sibling companies.

The group, which includes Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans, Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts and Dufour Yachts, reported €350 million in sales for the 2023/2024 fiscal year, reflecting a 26.9 per cent increase over the previous period.

Operating across 15 sales locations in 11 countries, The Yacht Sales Co. is a key player in new and pre-owned yacht sales within Asia Pacific. Formerly known as Multihull Solutions, the company represents Fountaine Pajot Group brands and other notable names such as Iliad Catamarans, Absolute Yachts, Maritimo, Neel Trimarans, Leen Trimarans and Cora Catamarans. It also operates a pre-owned brokerage division.

This partnership formalises a 25-year collaboration between The Yacht Sales Co. CEO, Mark Elkington, and the Fountaine Pajot Group.
