Freedom Boat Club expands its network in Spain with two new locations
Freedom Boat Club has expanded its Spanish network with new locations in Cádiz and the Region of Murcia.
Freedom Boat Club has expanded its presence in Spain with the opening of two new locations in Cádiz and Mazarrón, strengthening its network across southern Spain as the Brunswick-owned company continues its European growth strategy.
The new locations at Puerto Sherry in Cádiz and Mazarrón in the Region of Murcia expand the club’s presence across southern Spain, giving members access to cruising grounds on both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts.
“Spain remains one of our most important growth markets in Europe, and these openings demonstrate our commitment to expanding our network in destinations that offer exceptional boating experiences,” says Arturo Gutiérrez, general manager of Freedom Boat Club in EMEA.
Growing the Spanish network
The Cádiz location, based at Puerto Sherry in El Puerto de Santa María, extends Freedom Boat Club’s presence along Spain’s Atlantic coastline. It follows the company’s recent Spanish expansion, which included new locations in Barcelona, Costa Blanca, and Mallorca, and launches with a fleet comprising a Quicksilver 605 Open and a Quicksilver 705 Open.
Mazarrón marks the latest addition to the company’s Costa Cálida network in the Region of Murcia. Members will be able to boat from four locations across southeastern Spain – Mar Menor, Cartagena, Mazarrón and Águilas – with Cartagena serving as the central hub between the eastern and western sections of the coastline.
The Mazarrón fleet initially includes a Quicksilver 605 Open powered by a 150hp Mercury outboard. Freedom Boat Club says it plans to expand the fleet by the end of 2026 with additional boats from Brunswick brands, powered by Mercury engines.
The Cádiz and Mazarrón openings mark the latest stage in Freedom Boat Club’s expansion across Spain, reinforcing the Brunswick-owned company’s focus on growing its network in established boating destinations across southern Europe and worldwide.
