Freedom Boat Club, a Brunswick Corporation business and brand, has confirmed its expansion into the Middle East with the forthcoming launch of Freedom Boat Club of Dubai, scheduled to open in Q3 2025.

Dubai Harbour, which will host the new club, is located between Bluewaters Island and Palm Jumeirah.

“Expanding into Dubai marks a major milestone for Freedom Boat Club as we continue to bring our world-class boating experience to new global markets,” says Arturo Gutierrez, general manager of Freedom Boat Club for the EMEA region. “Dubai is a natural fit for Freedom. Its dynamic coastline, growing community, and passion for luxury and lifestyle make it an ideal location for our first club in the Middle East.”

The Dubai franchise will be operated by Baker Almasabey. Originally from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Almasabey has previously been a member of Freedom Boat Club in Canada. His professional background includes founding and scaling a logistics firm in Canada, which employed more than 120 people and operated in Calgary and Vancouver. He brings experience in managing fleets and delivering service-focused operations.

“As a longtime boater and Freedom member, I’ve seen firsthand how the club makes the boating lifestyle accessible and effortless,” says Baker Almasabey. “I’m thrilled to introduce this experience to Dubai’s vibrant waterfront community and build something that brings people together on the water, all year round.”

Dubai offers access to over 70 kilometres of natural coastline and nearly 500 kilometres of artificial shoreline. It has the second-largest economy in the UAE and supports year-round boating.

On opening, members will have access to a fleet of Brunswick-branded boats, including Sea Ray and Boston Whaler models, equipped with Mercury Marine engines.

The franchise plans to open three locations across Dubai by the end of 2026.
