Funding opportunity for SMEs looking to exhibit at METSTRADE

British Marine is offering a financial incentive for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in the UK to exhibit at METSTRADE 2024, the leading international B2B trade exhibition for the marine industry.

The application deadline is 5pm (UK) on Friday, 19 July 2024, so potential exhibitors are encouraged to act swiftly to secure their funding and place at the show.

Scheduled for 19 to 21 November 2024 in Amsterdam, METSTRADE represents the most substantial professional gathering in the global leisure marine industry. It provides an essential platform for fostering international business relationships and promoting trade.

This initiative, arranged in collaboration with the UK Department for Business & Trade (DBT), enables new SME exhibitors to reduce their participation costs substantially.

Approved applicants will only need to cover the METSTRADE registration fee of €495 and a marketing support fee of £300 + VAT, which translates into savings exceeding €2,700.

The package includes a 2×3-metre stand within the British Pavilion, Hall 3, equipped with necessary infrastructure and promotional tools, such as Wi-Fi, stand construction, electricity and storage, PR and marketing support, and two exhibitor passes.

“This funding opportunity is specifically designed to assist SMEs in leveraging the expansive network and business potential at METSTRADE,” says Lesley Robinson, CEO of British Marine. “With limited stands available and the application deadline of 19 July fast approaching, we urge interested parties to submit their applications without delay to avoid missing out on this strategic growth opportunity.”

Exhibiting with British Marine at METSTRADE offers enhanced visibility, as exhibitors can secure a location within the British Pavilion to maximise brand exposure.

The offer is limited to UK-owned and based companies promoting their own UK products or services, either newcomers to METSTRADE or having not exhibited since 2019.

British Marine says applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

To apply, contact Ella Davies, events executive, via email. The Department for Business and Trade will review all applications and British Marine will confirm directly to the successful exhibitors.
