Garmin has introduced the JL Audio AP amplifiers, a new line of compact amplifiers designed to deliver high-quality sound in marine and off-road environments.
The series, with efficient Class-D design, includes four models, ranging from a 200-watt 4 channel amplifier with bluetooth streaming to a 600-watt 6 channel unit capable of powering multiple speakers and subwoofers, all with reduced battery consumption.
Three models feature Easy Tune functionality for audio optimisation, speaker protection, and digital setups, while the top-panel control allows manual adjustments.
Susan Lyman, vice president of Garmin’s consumer sales and marketing, comments: “Make any boat or off-road vehicle’s audio system the life of the party with our new JL Audio AP amplifiers that allow you to play your favorite songs loud and clear. They are built to withstand a demanding environment, delivering superior audio quality year after year.”
The amplifiers are built with a cast-alloy casing and carry an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, making them suitable for installation on boats and other on-land power sports vehicles. The amplifiers also feature a built-in LCD display, while the 4 channel model with bluetooth technology also includes a remote.
Available now, the amplifiers (technical information is available on Garmin’s website) have a suggested retail price starting from £389.99.
