Groupe Beneteau has reported full-year revenues of €848.6m for 2025, marked by sales trends picking up again in H2 (-5 per cent at constant currency) following a sharp contraction in the first six months (-27 per cent at constant currency).

“In a challenging market context, the strategy to accelerate our product launches has delivered results,” says Bruno Thivoyon, Groupe Beneteau chief executive. “The 23 new models presented at the latest shows have received a very positive response from boat users. Our order intake levels therefore show strong growth, supporting the turnaround in business over the second half of 2025.

“Once again, the commitment and dedication of all the group’s teams to move forward with this strategy’s implementation have been decisive to ensure the conditions for our activity to bounce back in 2026, despite the persistent macroeconomic uncertainties.”

Revenues for the first half of 2025 totalled €403.8m, down 27.3 per cent at constant currency, while second-half revenues reached €444.8m, representing a decrease of 5.2 per cent at constant currency. Fourth-quarter revenues amounted to €274.2m. These figures were affected by customs clearance delays in the United States, which had an estimated impact of around €20m. Excluding this effect, sales would have been broadly stable at constant exchange rates over the quarter.

Order intake for the year increased by 24 per cent, supported by the introduction of 23 new models during 2025. By year-end, sell-in volumes were broadly realigned with sell-out sales across the distribution network.

Sales performance by segment and region

The sailing business accounted for 44 per cent of the group’s boat sales in 2025 and recorded a decline of 26.6 per cent at constant currency over the full year. Performance was affected by weaker end-customer demand for monohulls and reduced activity among charter operators.

Sales trends improved toward the end of the year following the introduction of new models, including the Oceanis 47 and Oceanis 52 under the Beneteau brand and the Sun Odyssey 415 from Jeanneau. In multihulls, second-half performance strengthened following the launch of the Lagoon 38, Excess 13 and Lagoon 82.

Motor activities represented 56 per cent of boat sales and declined by 9.8 per cent at constant currency for the year. This trend reversed in the second half, with growth of 1 per cent at constant currency, supported by increased motorboat sales in Europe. In the Motor Yachting segments, Prestige’s M-Line power catamarans contributed throughout the year, while the Swift Trawler 37 and Gran Trawler 63 supported performance in the second half. In Dayboating, sales trends for the American brands improved, supported by the Wellcraft 38 T-Top and updates to Four Winns entry-level models.

Regionally, Europe recorded revenues of €477.6m, down 15.6 per cent at constant currency, with sales returning to growth in the second half. North and Central America generated revenues of €226.2m, reflecting a decline of 13.7 per cent at constant currency, influenced by economic uncertainty and the introduction of tariffs in the US. Other regions recorded revenues of €87.4m, while fleet sales declined by 37.8 per cent, with charter demand particularly affected in Greece following the end of certain subsidy programmes.

The group also reported a cash management incident identified in December 2025, when duplicate wire transfer orders were mistakenly reissued by a service provider. As of February 9, more than 96 per cent of the affected amounts had been recovered. The remaining impact was described as ‘not significant’, with further details to be included in the annual results publication scheduled for 18 March 2026.

Looking ahead, Groupe Beneteau reports improved indicators at recent industry events, including the Paris Nautic Show and boot Düsseldorf 2026, where the group outlined its accelerated product roadmap.

The group plans to continue rolling out new models between 2025 and 2027 and confirms that it expects a return to sales growth in 2026, with stronger momentum anticipated in the first half of the year.
