Marine electronics specialist Raymarine will host guest speaker Harry Dwyer at its stand at the upcoming 2022 Southampton International Boat Show.

Dwyer will be at Raymarine’s stand J385 in the Ocean Hall, from 3pm on 21 September.

Dwyer is known for his quirky YouTube videos that introduce boating, engineering, and design projects via his channel to over 105k followers.

His popular “1,700 miles in a tiny speedboat” series features a 1977 rescued Avon Searider RIB, Goodwin. Saved from the scrap heap and restored by Dwyer, Goodwin receives an electronics upgrade throughout the series, including Raymarine’s Axiom+ touch screen chartplotters with RealVision Sonar, AIS, Quantum Radar, M232 Thermal Camera, and a YachtSense connected boat system for total RIB control.

“We are really excited that Harry will be joining us on the stand at Southampton International Boat Show,” says Richard Marsden, UK sales manager at Raymarine. “It will be a great opportunity for him to talk about his adventure and meet people who have been following him.”

The Southampton International Boat Show takes place from 16-25 September at Mayflower Park, Southampton, on Europe’s largest purpose-built marina.
