Marine power generation and storage technology firm Integrel Solutions is ramping up expansion in the Adriatic and has partnered with Jarusica in Croatia, as its official distributor in the region.

Jarusica, a marine solutions provider, will showcase Integrel’s power systems at the Zagreb Boat Show, starting on 19 February.

The new partnership marks a significant step in expanding Integrel’s presence in the Adriatic.

Earlier this month, MIN reported that marine power generation and hybrid propulsion technology innovator also entered into a distribution agreement with Motocraft SA, a marine equipment supplier in Greece.

On show at the Zagreb Boat Show will be the  Integrel E-Power and Integrel E-Drive. According to Integrel, E-Power captures and stores excess energy from a boat’s engine, providing up to 9kW of power (or 18kW in a dual system), replacing conventional generators.

Additionally, Integrel E-Drive offers up to 15kW of power generation (30kW in a dual system) and when switched into drive mode gives up to 20hp (or 40hp in a dual system) of sustainable electric propulsion.

Croatia and the Adriatic is a prime region for Integrel’s expansion, as it is a sailing hotspot with a strong charter market.

Integrel highlights that charter fleets typically have high onboard power demands and high engine use, making E-Power an ideal solution for meeting power requirements and reducing reliance on traditional generators while enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

Integrel Solutions has twice been honoured at the DAME Awards. In 2018, Integrel claimed first prize in the Machinery, Propulsion, Mechanical, and Electrical Systems and Fittings category, ultimately winning the Overall DAME Design Award. In 2022, the company won the category again and were recognised for expanding the technology’s capabilities and introducing the E-Drive module for all-electric propulsion.

Tom Pickles, sales director (EMEA) for Integrel Solutions, says: “We are thrilled to partner with Jarusica as we expand into Croatia. Their deep knowledge of the local marine industry and strong reputation make them the perfect partner to introduce our sustainable solutions to the industry, boat owners and charter operators. With Croatia’s thriving charter market, we see a fantastic opportunity to help fleets operate more efficiently and sustainably.”

Tome Juraga from Jarusica adds: “We are excited to bring Integrel’s award-winning power systems to Croatia. As the demand for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions grows, Integrel products present an outstanding opportunity for boat owners and charter fleets to enhance their onboard experience while reducing fuel consumption. We look forward to showcasing this innovative technology at the Zagreb Boat Show.”
