The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) has confirmed that the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference 2025 will now take place at the Arsenale De Venezia in Venice, Italy.

The three-day event will take place from 15–17 October, bringing together international experts, operators, policymakers and investors to examine global developments in the marina and nautical tourism sectors. The conference features a series of sessions and keynote presentations focused on market trends and long-term strategies for the industry.

The event had been due to take place on Certosa Island. The venue change follows higher-than-expected registration numbers for the event. ICOMIA said the move will allow more delegates and exhibitors to attend and broaden participation across the marina sector.

Located in central Venice, the Arsenale offers expanded facilities and improved accessibility. ICOMIA noted that the change will not affect existing travel or accommodation plans, as the venue remains close to the original site.

ICOMIA CEO, Joe Lynch, says: “We always knew that Venice would be a very popular location for this event, but the demand for delegate registration and additional exhibition space has been tremendous. We are therefore delighted to be able to host the event in such an iconic and inspiring location. Thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters and delegates for making this move possible.”

Registration is now live on the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference 2025 website.
