Dealership idealboat.com opens new location at Hamble Point Marina

New and pre-owned boat dealership idealboat.com is expanding with a new location at Hamble Point Marina in Southampton, on the UK’s south coast.
The company is taking 1,500 sq ft of sales showroom at the marina near the entrance to the Hamble River. Offering a brokerage service as well as new boat sales, idealboat.com will also have external boat sales space directly next to the new showroom to display new and used craft.
This is idealboat.com’s fourth sales location. It now has two locations along the South Coast, and two in Wales — one in Pwllheli and one on The Warren, Abersoch’s beach resort.
“MDL and its Hamble Point Marina is a great base for us,” says Neville Williams, managing director at idealboat.com. “Not just the space available, but the location close to Southampton Water, giving us easy access to the Solent where we can showcase and demonstrate our exceptional and vast range of luxury boats.
“The fact that there are multiple boat sales offices and dealers based at the marina is a real bonus, and we’re hoping to capitalise on Hamble Point’s growing reputation as the place to go along this stretch of the coast to buy a boat.”
idealboat.com is the sole UK and Ireland importer for an extensive range of power boating brands, including Saxdor, Chaparral, Robalo, Finnmaster, Husky and AMP amphibious RIBS, as well as being dealers for Kawasaki Jetskis.

Earlier this year, MIN reported that Hamble Point Marina had welcomed RS Electric Boats and Dromeas Yachts as new tenants, complementing existing onsite marine manufacturing businesses.
