IGY Marinas to continue to manage Cala di Volpe moorings on the Costa Smeralda

Following a successful inaugural year, IGY Marinas has been appointed by Smeralda Holding – the indirect concession holder of the mooring field – to support the fully owned Safebay in the management of the prestigious Cala di Volpe moorings on Sardinia’s renowned Costa Smeralda.

This announcement follows news in March 2025, that IGY Marinas renewed its management agreement with Smeralda Holding for the Porto Cervo Marina and shipyard.

Positioned seven nautical miles south of IGY’s Marina di Porto Cervo, the Cala di Volpe mooring field offers 18 buoys designed to accommodate yachts up to 150 metres.

With superyacht berths at a premium, IGY’s continued stewardship of Cala di Volpe Mooring is welcome news for IGY Trident members, who benefit from guaranteed mooring access during even the busiest periods of the season.
