Hurley Marine confirms distributor for Italy

US-based dinghy davit manufacturer Hurley Marine has named Indemar as its new distributor for Italy.

Hurley Marine designs and manufactures davit systems for the easy recovery, launch, and stowage of heavy tenders and jet skis onto a swim platform. The company is based in Escanaba, Michigan.

“I was well aware of Indemar’s reputation as being one of the premium marine distributors in Italy and with their excellent connections to the OEM and dealer network in this important market, we see this partnership as another step forward for our brand as we continue to grow our European distribution network,” says Todd Hurley, CEO of Hurley Marine.

Paolo Gatti, Indemar’s sales manager, says: “The stowage onboard of a large tender or JetSki often presents a challenge to boat owners and so we see a big opportunity to develop sales of the Hurley Marine product range since it provides a simple and effective solution to what is a common problem.”

Indemar has been distributing technical marine products in Italy since 1972. The company is based in Busalla, just north of Genoa.

In December, MIN reported that Michigan-based Hurley Marine is continuing to expand its distribution network with the recent appointments of Palby Marine for Denmark and Nautec AB in Sweden.
