Julie Crang joins Promarine Finance

Promarine Finance has appointed Julie Crang to its senior management team.

With a 20-year career in marine sales, Crang is embarking on a new journey by moving into the marine finance sector.

“We’re delighted to welcome Julie to the Promarine team,” says Stuart Austin, director of Promarine. “Business is growing due to a significant increase in interest in getting out on the water within the UK. It’s an exciting time to join us and Julie’s experience in the marine industry is sure to bring added value to both the Promarine team and its customers.”

Crang feels working in the marine industry has always been the key to her success and says that this new role is more than just a job.

“Moving into marine finance has allowed me to stay in the industry I love, whilst setting me a challenge in a new, exciting direction,” she says.

“I’m helping like-minded people get on the water by listening and understanding their individual situation. Financing a boat is a massive decision for most so offering a friendly, personal service is right up my street. I am delighted to be part of the team and I am sure my knowledge and experience of this industry will serve me well.”

Promarine Finance says it offers fixed-rate marine mortgages for all types of leisure vessels including new and used RIBs, motorboats, sailing yachts and canal boats over periods of two to ten years where the finance is secured against the vessel.
